Awarding top achievers of “1+4” Program: 2025
On December 24, SOCAR Energy Georgia held an annual awards ceremony for the top achieving students of the “1+4” Program.
Since the 2008–2009 academic year, SOCAR has been financing tuition fees for ethnic Azerbaijani students studying at state universities in Georgia within the framework of the “1+4” state education program. To date, the program has supported the education of up to 7,600 students, demonstrating SOCAR’s long-term commitment to youth development and education.
Recognizing the program’s significant social and public importance, SOCAR continuously implements improved measures to ensure its sustainability and effectiveness. As a result, a steady increase in students’ academic performance has been observed, with positive dynamics recorded year after year. To further enhance accessibility and transparency of the program, SOCAR has introduced a dedicated student portal, allowing submission of required documents online.
For the fourth consecutive year, SOCAR has also been awarding students with outstanding academic results as an additional incentive and an example for others. Students achieving an annual academic score above 95 are recognized for their excellence, and over the years, 43 high-performing students have been awarded under this initiative.
This year, 10 students with annual academic scores above 95 and 11 program-volunteer students were awarded financial prizes and honorary certificates in recognition of their achievements, dedication, and active contribution to the program.
