The finalists of the SOCAR Student Competition visited the SOCAR Georgia Petroleum office, the Kiziki Oilfield and the Fuel Quality Control Laboratory.

During the visit, the students got acquainted with the activities of SOCAR Georgia Petroleum, the company’s operational processes and the full fuel supply cycle — from the oilfield to the tank of the customer’s vehicle. The participants toured the Kiziki Oilfield and received detailed information about the processes of fuel receipt, storage, quality control and distribution.

The guests also visited the modern SOCAR Georgia Petroleum laboratory, which is one of the most high-tech facilities in Georgia for fuel quality control. The laboratory specialists introduced the students to fuel testing methods, quality monitoring procedures and international standards, in compliance with which the company ensures the delivery of high-quality products to its customers.

The visit provided the finalists with an opportunity to gain practical experience in the energy sector, the company's core business areas, and quality management systems. The event was another important step for the students to gain valuable experience and learn about professional development opportunities before starting their internship program.
