On 22–23 July, SOCAR Energy Georgia welcomed representatives of the SOCAR Reciprocity Program for a two-day visit aimed at strengthening collaboration and identifying new value-creation opportunities across the SOCAR Group. The delegation was led by Salih Şahin, Corporate Strategy Group Coordinator at SOCAR Türkiye. The visit was coordinated by Fuad Ahmadov, Chief Financial Officer of SOCAR Energy Georgia, who serves as the Reciprocity Program representative in Georgia.

The Reciprocity Program was established in line with SOCAR’s strategic priorities, with a strong focus on operational excellence, commercial synergies, and sustainable growth. Initially launched at SOCAR Türkiye, the initiative has since expanded internationally and now supports stronger collaboration among SOCAR companies and their stakeholders across multiple countries.

The program promotes a holistic ecosystem approach by connecting SOCAR’s operational segments, group companies, suppliers, and customers. Its objective is to strengthen collaboration across the ecosystem, create sustainable commercial opportunities, connect products and services with the right partners, and maximize the effective use of existing resources. By fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing, the program contributes to long-term value creation across the entire SOCAR Group.

The Reciprocity Program has already delivered significant commercial value by increasing revenues, optimizing costs, and strengthening collaboration across operational functions. While many initiatives have been implemented within SOCAR’s operations in Türkiye and Azerbaijan, participation from other countries, including Georgia, continues to expand.

The visit to Georgia began with a presentation of the Reciprocity Program for executives representing SOCAR Group companies operating in the country. Participants included Mariam Valishvili, Director of SOCAR Georgia Gas; Nodar Kanchaveli, Director of SOCAR Georgia Petroleum; and other senior executives of SOCAR in Georgia. During the session, representatives of the local management teams also presented their businesses and future development opportunities. The meeting provided an open platform for sharing experience and identifying new opportunities for future collaboration.

On the second day, the delegation facilitated an interactive workshop involving approximately 30 executives from SOCAR Group companies operating in Georgia. Participants worked together to develop new reciprocity initiatives with the potential to create value not only for SOCAR companies worldwide, but also for suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders across the broader SOCAR ecosystem.

The visit to Georgia marks an important milestone in the continued development of the Reciprocity Program and supports the expansion of its collaborative approach within the country. By strengthening partnerships across countries and business segments, the program brings SOCAR Group companies closer together, enhances operational efficiency, and contributes to the sustainable development of SOCAR’s global ecosystem.
